About the Forum
For the past 12 years «Dialogue of Cultures» has been remaining one of the biggest platforms located in Russia, where every year representatives of the international media space from more than 30 countries meet. Joining the work of the Forum you become a part of a huge media event: try to find by joint effort the answers on the media challenges, present your own transboundary projects, aimed at overcoming the conflicts between representatives of different cultures and confessions, adopt experience of colleagues from other countries and find new friends in profession.

Faces of the Dialogue
Meet the Forum's participants and their projects, which they are going to present in the State Hermitage.
Austria
Photo project "Moments of Austria. My personal view" shows beauty of Vienna through Akos Burg's camera lens.
Ireland
The author of the cross-border project «The Returning» is documenting the events, happening in the cosmodrome Baikonur, the main cosmic portal of the world, next to which the posterities of nomad tribes are continuing their peaceful existence.
India
Diverse and beautiful India is presented by Anuj in his photo project "India through my lens". Each shot of the project will make you feel mix of different cultures and harmony of coexisting in one country.
Netherlands
The Author in his photo-project "I have a dream" shows us intimate wishes of children all over the World. Each picture is a deep personal story of a child which he's ready to share.
Germany
The project is devoted to Khabarovsk citizens, the people of creative and technical professions, different interests and personal stories. They are united by the city and an aspiration to develop themselves.
Scotland
How can the hair color unite nations? The author of the cross-border photo project «Gingers» has been making the portraits of holders of this rare hair color from Russia and Scotland - the countries with the highest percentage of ginger-haired people.
India
Every girl is created by God so freedom is her Birth-Right and knowledge is the key to the locks the society shackles of the females, it gives Wings to fly her in the open Sky. This statement is told by Pratibha via her photo project "Daughters are soulful creature of Gos"
Egypt
The photo project «A Closet Full of Dreams» is a story about Egyptian women, who are living in the society, where a woman feels herself oppressed, walking the streets. There are clothes, hidden in their closets. Clothes, which they will never put on to escape the judgey looks of passers-by and not to hear moralizing by the side of the family and friends.
Bulgaria
The project "Lens2Lens" - is a platform for multimedia stories in order to be easier for journasilsts to legitimize themselves in front of the military and to be completely independent and to be able to work in a manner that they want.
Norway
Active Internet-commentators from Norway, Russia, the USA, Lebanon and Denmark became the protagonists of the multimedia cross-border project «Internet Warriors» of the visual journalist. Every Internet warrior fights for its own truth in the global network.
Spain
Spanish project "Upload/Download" is about different forms of Art in digital era. There're collected 10 books of foreign and russian artists and the Wall of memes.
Russia, North Osetia
The documentary series "Great osetians from Great theater" consists of five films and is dedicated to the staff of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, which was brought up by Osetia. In the second film of the series, the authors introduce the audience to the head of the ballet company Makhar Vaziev.
Russia, Moscow
"The music of steel" is a documentary about the blacksmith. Blacksmiths are strong, persistant people working every day with fire and steel. Very few know that they are even more romantic and sensitive people than many of us! Pampukha Igor tells not only about himself, the knife industry and his "Knife" philosophy, but also shows his small collection and shares his thoughts on the future of the blacksmith craft.
Denmark
The Documentary "Hetna - a modern opera singer" - is a successfull producer debut of Gertrud. The film tells us about the Danish opera singer who had the idea to transfer the opera from the stage to private houses.
France
The Documentary "As long as we go east" is about a skate journey in Europe. A four month artistic performance through nine countries. A bridge between west cultures and east cultures.

The Documentary "Food on the go" - is a fascinating story about the travelling of italian cuisine to american continent. Mercedes touches not only the history of italian cuisine but also the emergence of new traditions far from its home land.
Belarus
The documentary "Sporovo polka" tells us about a national dance which inhabitants of belarusian village of Sporovo have maintained for three hundred years.
Russia, Kaluga
TV program "People and masterpieces in the State Hermitage" shows that the points of contact with works of art exhibited in the Hermitage can be found in all cities of Russia, and each of us can find this connection in ourselves.

The program of the Forum is very diverse and is aimed not only at the representatives of registered in their country media, but also at independent journalists, photographers, filmmakers, bloggers, editors of Internet-portals or another digital-media outlets. Every participant could express his opinion on the up-to-date changes in the media space, present openly his own professional achievements in different formats, it could be: an article in a newspaper or magazine, TV-spot, a documentary film, series of photographs or a cross-border multimedia project.
