The Echo of the Dialogue
Francesco Pereira (Switzerland)
In the dunes of the Sahara, a Jaima, the traditional Saharawi tent. Through the tea ritual, a woman takes us into the past and present of her people, persecuted and driven from their land. There are three teas she offers us: the first, bitter as life; the second, sweet as love; the third, mild as death. Each tea tells us a story.
Sheha Das (India)
The animation analyzes the threats faced by the West Bengal applied art of Dokra, whose history dates back 4,000 years. Craftsmen and sellers of such products spoke about the lack of support and difficult living conditions for those who own this craft. The animation touches on the danger of the disappearance of Dokra, as well as possible ways to revive this art.
Héctor Hernández (Mexico)
Motivated by the dream of being a marine biologist, Itzel is the first Mexican researcher to be part of the Gulf Listen international network for acoustic monitoring of cetaceans. Through anecdotes and experiences, will immerse us in a fascinating tour of her profession.
Technical requirements
- Duration — up to 13 minutes
- Video clips, television reports, and documentary films in MOV format, H264 codec
- Main themes: history, cultural characteristics of the country, customs and traditions, contemporary realities of life in the country, fates of significant personalities, travel stories.
- Films in a foreign language must be accompanied by Russian subtitles
- Authors of documentary films must also provide the following accompanying materials (via link to a file-sharing service):
- Trailer
- Electronic poster (jpg format)
- Several stills from the film
- Behind-the-scenes material (photos or video)
- Photo of the director (color, high quality, preferably a portrait)
- Project team (list)
- List of festivals and screenings (if any)
- Duration for animation — up to 13 minutes Internal comment: CONFIRM DURATION
- File format for animation — avi
- Use of short video clips and their combination is permitted
- Main themes: history, cultural characteristics of the country, customs and traditions, contemporary realities of life in the country, fates of significant personalities, travel stories.
- Use of sound audio tracks is permitted
- Resolution — Full HD (1920×1080)
- Possible motion design techniques: 2D animation, 3D animation, combination of 2D and 3D animation, keyframe animation, cut-out animation, flash animation
- Frame rate — any, but preferably 25 frames per second
- The plot does not necessarily have to strive for complex dramaturgy
- Films in a foreign language must be accompanied by Russian subtitles
При создании видео и анимации допускается комбинирование традиционного продакшена с ИИ-генерациями. При подаче работы участник должен указать, какие именно технологии использовались и какие моменты видео были доработаны или изменены с помощью ИИ. Например: «в сцене на 0:16—0:22 сгенерирована анимация с помощью Kandinsky Video».
