Bella Adzhieva (Abkhazia)

abazinka

This project is an effort to show the identity, authenticity and identity of the earth, which is being consumed by globalization. Abkhazia (Apsny) has remained the most untouched and one of the few clean oases in almost the entire Caucasus. And this last piece of land is now hanging on the edge, by a thread, so as not to enter this big puzzle. This shoot and the seemingly personal story of the author are dedicated to all people to remind them who they are and where they come from.
Bella Adzhieva is a photographer originally from the Karachay-
Cherkess Republic, who has been living and working in the Republic of Abkhazia since 2020. In her work, she documents mythical images and memories, touching
on themes of self-exploration, nature, and ethnic identity.
