«Three days in Russia»

Three intensive days dedicated to practical dialogue — shooting stories about Russia and its regions
Shooting days
Love at first frame
Practical dialogue
Discover Russia
After the main Forum days at the Hermitage, participants — having learned more about each other’s cultures — engage in practical dialogue. Russian and international journalists, photographers, documentarians, animators, and media artists explore Russia together, some rediscovering it, others seeing it for the first time
Visit iconic places for Russia during the filming days
For the first time this year, mixed groups will include Russian and foreign Forum participants, in addition to traditional itineraries will visit Petrozavodsk and Arkhangelsk, about which they will create joint multimedia works
Create Collaborative Media Projects
Participants will be filming areas of St. Petersburg (including the Hermitage itself), Veliky Novgorod, Petrozavodsk, Arkhangelsk and Pskov. The best multimedia stories created based on the results of the trips will be included in the interactive guide on the Forum website and will be published by the media

suggestions and tips
To film, you may need a photo or video camera, as well as any equipment you’re used to working with. You can even shoot on your phone — there are no strict quality requirements; the most important thing is your desire to participate.
To take part in a filming day, you need to attend one of the main sections of the forum: the practical conference, the photo exhibition, or the video content festival — or register separately
The final product can be:
  • a longread,
  • a short documentary or animated film,
  • a video blog,
  • a series of photos or illustrations,
  • a motion design video.
During field trips, you can team up with other participants (for example, working as a pair: journalist and photographer, etc.).
